What Is Socialism?
Under socialism, the means of production are owned by the public. What does that really mean though? What it really means is that a group of bureaucrats decides what is now public and what is now private. Your toothbrush may be deemed private but your car is now public! Or your underwear is now deemed private but your hammer is now public!
Anything deemed “public” is taken from you and used as the bureaucrats decide. What always ends up happening is the bureaucrats at the top become MEGA wealthy while everyone else is mired in poverty and destitute. If you refuse to work under this stupid new system you voted for, you will be shot or put in a labor camp. Your freedom is GONE!
This always leads to starvation because the farmers are told to work just as hard as usual, but they are not allowed to make any money. They are forced to sell their beef, chicken, eggs, corn, wheat, etc. at a government enforced level. These levels are always set too low so that farmers lose money with each and every harvest. They soon realize it’s not worth their time and effort and stop growing food for everyone except themselves. The government then steps in and forces them to farm or be placed in prison or killed.
After those farmers are removed or killed, the government puts other people in charge of farming that have never farmed before and before you know it, you’ll have MILLION DEAD from starvation and economic turmoil / collapse. This is exactly what led to 60 million people dying in China and millions more in every country this has been tried in. To date, 100 million people have died due to this failed economic experiment.
Most people have no idea what socialism is. They think they’ll get the latest Apple iPhone for free every year, but instead you get the $20 Samsung flip phone from 10 years ago and if it breaks you can’t get a new one for another 10 years.
Most millennials think by voting for socialism, they’re voting for social programs to help the needy, but instead they’re actually voting for an economic system in which they’ll be told where to work, when to work and how to work and after you’re done working you get nothing but access to the pantry. And then when the pantry dries up, because a centralized economy FAILS EVERY SINGLE TIME, they’ll be waiting in a bread line, such as in Russia or Venezuela.
Here’s why the other percentage of millennials say they would vote for socialism:
- Stagnant wages due to massive immigration from non-citizens. To solve this problem, the United States would need to turn off immigration for as many years as needed to raise wages.
- Large student loan debts. High school grads were told they really needed to get a college degree if they were going to make a lot of money, but no one ever told them to only get degrees in something that will pay very well in the future such as Engineering and Business. Instead, they majored in stupid degrees that have next to no value such as art, photography, graphic design, anthropology, education, sociology, feminist theory, gender studies, women’s studies, LGBTQ studies, gerontology, etc.
